Night guards
They are transparent, acrylic mouthguards, personalized and laboratory-made. They are placed by the patient on the teeth of one of the two jaws.
The bruxism splint prevents the teeth from closing in their usual position and balances the pressures, allowing the muscles to relax and reducing or even eliminating functional symptoms and pain.
Indications:
- Periods of stress
- Extensive restorations
- Pain in the muscles of the stomatognathic system
- Headaches originating from the bite
- "Grinding" or "clenching" of teeth
- Wear on the incisal edges of the teeth
