Frenectomy
A frenectomy is a painless procedure performed under local anesthesia and takes only about 15 minutes. It improves the mobility of the tongue or lip, addressing issues that may affect speech and swallowing. An enlarged frenum can also cause gum recession, leading to both functional and aesthetic concerns. In all such cases, a frenectomy is recommended.
